As you probably already know, Verity utilizes the visions and voices of local artists and musicians to express what truth means to them. We believe in the power of art and the value it brings to our communities.

We want to extend an opportunity to your family, an opportunity that will allow your children’s’ artistic interests to shine. Between June and August, Verity is providing scholarships for students to attend a wide range of art classes offered by Push/Pull Gallery in Ballard.

An array of professional artists will teach a number of classes this summer. The focus is fun but all students will learn new skills that build on their current talents.
Whether your kids’ interests lie in arts, comics or crafts, there’s a class that will pique the interest of your budding artist. Classes offered include:

• Youth and Teen Comics
• Print Making
• Collage
• Figure drawing
• Illustration
• Fine Art

If you’re interested in learning more about Push/Pull Gallery’s summer Youth and Teen classes and/or obtaining a scholarship to attend one (or more), please contact info@pushpullseattle.com for details.

Alicia Diefenbach

My name is Alicia Diefenbach and I’m a Community Relations Specialist at Verity Credit Union.  I absolutely love my role at Verity!  I have the opportunity to explore the communities in which we’re located, reach out to organizations and individuals making these places dynamic, inviting places to live, and get involved with activities that support their well-being.

In my spare time I dote on my vegetable garden.  It still never ceases to amaze me that I can create my dinner out of dirt, some seeds, and cooperative weather.   I love my dog, Frank.  Also, I go to rock shows.  A whole lotta rock shows.
