I’m Wendy and I’m the Director of Home Loans for Verity Credit Union Home Loan Center. What I enjoy most about my job is being able to make a difference in peoples’ lives. I truly have a passion in helping members get into their first home or refinance their existing home and making a difference in their financial future.

What most people don’t know about me is that I’m #3 of 10 kids. There was never a dull moment growing up… experience was similar to the movie “Cheaper by the Dozen”. Also, unknown by most, is that I’ve collected spoons since I was 13 years old. It started when my best friend, Jancy, brought me an Alabama State spoon after vacationing there for the summer. That spoon is now 1 of over 400. Some are from all over the world; others are antique dessert spoons dating back to the late 1800’s – early 1900’s. Recently my husband put his foot down and told me I can’t have anymore spoons because we have no more wall space – all are beautifully displayed in glass cases. So, instead, I’ve starting collecting shoes – my goal is to have every color in the rainbow, plus some. My husband hasn’t caught on to my new collection yet but he will eventually when he notices that my shoes are invading his side of the closet.
