I’m Laurel, Verity’s eCommerce Manager. Who updates veritycu.com? That would be me. Who sends you email when Home Banking is down? That’s me, too. But, there’s more. I work with just about every department at Verity, from Information Services to the Member Service Center, to help launch new products, troubleshoot issues, promote online services and educate staff and members on how to access Verity’s Home Banking services. I don’t just work here—I’m a member, too. I use every single Home Banking product. If it’s not working, I feel your pain. It is my job to work with our vendors and our IT staff to get things up and running again—and to keep our members informed about it. Have a suggestion to make our online services better? Let me know—I’m a quick email responder, but I have been known to call members, too. I prefer MACs, but know my way around a PC. I enjoy yoga, digital photography and graphic design, but I would rather spend time with my husband and toddler son, known in past posts as “Baby Verity.” Most people would never know that I once had a basketball spun on my finger by a former Harlem Globetrotter.
