Catie Evanovich
Member Service Representative
Catie Evanovich has been with Verity Credit Union since May of 2008 and if you’ve ever called in there is really good odds you have spoken with her. She says “okie dokie” a lot. Catie first started in Credit Unions as a way to have a day job while pursuing creative endeavors and found out much to her surprise to have a high aptitude for understanding the financial structure and a knack for explaining it to others. Catie believes that Credit Unions preserve a way of life that often gets lost in today’s automated and instant service mentality of mega big financial institutions. She is also the queen of run on sentences and loves the use of semicolons; she has wicked malapropism abilities and is possibly the worst speller in the entire credit union. She also enjoys writing about herself in the third person, which is what sets this bio apart from all the others on Our Voices. A small fraction of Catie’s favorite things include: lolcats, photography, astrophysics, teh interwebs, crafts, video games, hiking, reading, cute things, music of all kinds, local history, and geology.
