My name’s Aaron; I’m the Relationship Associate for Verity’s online services. Hmm…what’s that, you ask? Well, good question. It’s actually a fairly new position here, and with the help of a small but ultra-dedicated team (shout-out to the McJannet’s and Bobbi P!), we’re sort-of figuring it out as we go along. I do a bit with a number of different departments, including Marketing, Operations, Consumer Lending, IT, and Project Management; but the most important role I have at Verity is to welcome and work with new members who find us on the web. I’ve banked with credit unions my whole life and love to talk about the attributes of cooperative finance. I know; I’m kind of a geek. Away from work, I spend most of my time with my wife and two awesome daughters – the older one started kindergarten this year. I’ve also been a working musician, both a composer and performer, for more than ten years. In my alone time…well, let’s just say the geek truly comes out. I tend to get a little obsessed with things; like movies, music, video games, sports, comic books, politics, religion, dinosaurs – just to name a few. Most people would never guess (or believe) that I know every word to the movie “Big Trouble in Little China,” or that I’ve read the entire Bible cover-to-cover. Yeah, I like to consider myself somewhat of a renaissance man – despite what everyone else says. My mother agrees with me, and that’s all the validation I need.
