Of all the Cooperative Principles, perhaps the most unusual and inspiring is Principle #6, Cooperation Among Cooperatives. When co-ops join forces, we accomplish some amazing things. What better time to celebrate cooperation for the greater good than on Earth Day!

On Saturday, April 23, Verity Credit Union, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union and Seattle REI will partner with the Student Conservation Association, UW Botanic Gardens and Seattle Parks and Recreation for a day of fun restoration projects at the Washington Park Arboretum.

And, be sure to get there early. We are giving away free, one-of-a-kind event t-shirts for the first 50 Verity Credit Union members!

Date: Saturday, April 23, 2011

Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm

Location: 2300 Arboretum Drive E, Seattle, WA 98112
