Photo of A quest for questions

Maybe credit card billing cycles have always been a little mystifying to you. Maybe APR, APY, ARM make you want to cry “SOS!” and find a BankerSpeak-English dictionary. Whatever your questions… I’m confident that others have had them too, and I'd like to help.

I’ve worked for credit unions for the better part of five years. In my family and circle of friends, this has earned me the honor of answering questions about various financial services – from the general to the specific. I *love* questions… even if I don’t know an answer immediately, finding the answer helps me to learn something too. Another thing I love? Helping people. I’m in the perfect line of work as that love ties in to one of the founding principles of the cooperative movement – people helping people.

With that, dear Reader, I’d like to make myself available as a resource for you. In my CU career I’ve worked in Operations for three-plus years, back-office for one, and I’m now embarking on the exciting journey of training our staff – it almost goes without saying that I’ve fielded a lot of questions during that time, and it’s only natural for me to wish to help answer yours as well. Maybe credit card billing cycles have always been a little mystifying to you. Maybe APR, APY, ARM make you want to cry “SOS!” and find a BankerSpeak-English dictionary. Maybe you’re now curious about the founding principles of the cooperative movement I mentioned in the first paragraph. Whatever your questions… I’m confident that others have had them too.

Please send your questions to sashak@veritycu.com. I’ll answer your questions bi-weekly in Our Voices.
