Verity Loaners: Andrea, Pete and Jen

Members of Verity’s staff recently participated in Solid Ground’s Strike out Hunger Bowl-a-thon. The event benefited the Food Security for Children (FSC) program, which works to eliminate infant and toddler hunger and malnutrition by providing age-appropriate, high-nutrition foods and essential baby supplies to low-income families through Seattle food banks.

According to their website, the Wallingford based non-profit has nearly 30 programs designed to help local families “overcome poverty and build better futures.” For more information on this excellent organization, visit their website here.
