Verity Wins Top 100 Award
We made the Training Magazine Top 100 list. This is a national award which, in the words of the selection committee is, “the most elite ranking among Fortune 500 companies for Training and Learning Development.” Last year, only one other credit union in the nation made the list, WSECU. Here’s a link to the 2005 list:

We will find out in February what rank we achieved.
Frankly, I’m so excited I could throw up. But I won’t. I enjoy working at Verity and I tremendously enjoy working with Justin (who championed the entry process…there is no way we would have won without his efforts). This is nice icing.
We have earned two other national training awards. The Credit Union National Association acknowledged our internal university and our executive alignment with the training function with the Chi Pi Delta and Training Champion Awards, respectively. It is exciting to win this award among other for-profit companies, like IBM, The Ritz-Carlson and Home Depot, in addition our credit union peers.

Many congrats! (And good to know you didn’t throw up, either.)

Trey,
Thank you so much! I’ve heard a lot about you and look forward to meeting you at the KCCCU luncheon.
(Tums and water = no throw up)
